International Inter University Short Film Festival (IIUSFF)

International Inter University Short Film Festival organized by Dhaka University Film Society is a festival to promote and inspire the works of university going film makers. The festival started its journey in 2007.Over the years, it succeeded in creating a name of its own and work as a cross-cultural platform to portray different styles and dimensions of young university-going  filmmakers throughout the world.

The film distribution network and screening facilities in Bangladesh does not provide any conducive environment for novice filmmakers. Dhaka University Film Society is trying  to resolve this problem by creating  a platform for young film enthusiasts to show and share their works and feelings with each other. We aim to inspire university-going students with dreams to frame their mind’s eye while contesting for delivering the best.

The festival has already established itself to be one of the most prestigious short film festivals in the world. The number of response and interest we’re getting from young film makers and film enthusiasts all over the world compliments the vision we worked for.
