Closing and Award Giving Ceremony: Short Film Festival on Cultural Diversity and Peace

Dhaka University Film Society, in association with ActionAid Bangladesh, is arranging Short Film Festival on Cultural Diversity and Peace. The festival purposes to provide an ideal platform for the talented filmmakers of Bangladesh where they can demonstrate their latent talent and improve themselves as filmmakers.

Through this festival, our goal is to promote cultural diversity, facilitate social cohesion and spark meaningful conversations about how to create a more peaceful world through the film as a medium. Short Film Festival on Cultural Diversity and Peace is an endeavor to acknowledge the transformative power of visual storytelling and celebrate the talent of the filmmakers of our country.

The schedule for the event is as follows

September 8, 2019 (Sunday)

• 10.00 AM – 1.00 PM: Short Film Screening

• 2.00 PM – 4.00 PM: Short Film Screening

• 5.00 PM – 6.00 PM: Panel Discussion on ‘Film as a Medium of Spreading Cultural Diversity and Peace’

• 5.00 PM – 6.30 PM: Closing Ceremony
